    Wood/Aluminium Windows
       Lea

Lea - The wood-aluminum series Lea®, ereated by ROSADA, is a unique product: it makes use of the patented Rosada assembling system. A complimentary assembling fastens aluminum profiles to the already assembled sash and frame components using fastening clips.

THE BEAUTY OF LOW MAINTENANCE AND DESIGN in a window product is increasing in demand. Lea® is a wood-aluminum window which not only meets these demands but also provides the beauty often only associated to wood products.

THE QUALITY OF A PRODUCT lies in the type of materials used. Our wood-aluminum products, Lea®, use Douglas Fir for wooden parts and extruded aluminum for its sash and frames and not roll form aluminum. The thickness of this extruded aluminum ranges from 1.1 to 1.5 mm. This is important when you consider that the product has to resist to damage sometimes caused by the enviroment or by occasional impacts.

The Rosada Subframe - It is a piece of metal (zinc-plated) split in 3 parts which is assembled in the building site and installed by a Rosada Qualified Installer on the rough opening.

The metal subframe is shaped differently according to the different product series by Rosada.

This is because one of the main purposes of the subframe is to allow a PERFECT FIT of the window frame to the rough opening during installation
